How to read these figures
- Each price was read from the clinic's own website on the date shown next to it.
- Prices are quoted in the currency the clinic published. Nothing is converted.
- A country appears only when at least 3 clinics there publish in the same currency.
- Most clinics publish a starting price. The real cost depends on how many grafts you need, which nobody can tell you without seeing you.
A published price is a marketing figure, not a quote. It usually assumes a straightforward case and a set graft count, and it may or may not include medication, aftercare, accommodation or transfers. Ask any clinic for a written, itemised quote before paying anything.

What changes the price
How many grafts
The single biggest factor. Most clinics price per graft or in bands, so a larger area costs proportionally more. A starting price almost always describes the smallest band.
Who operates
Some clinics price a doctor-performed procedure separately from one carried out by technicians under supervision. Where a clinic publishes both, the difference can be substantial.
What is included
Packages aimed at travelling patients may include hotel, transfers, medication and aftercare. A cheaper headline price with none of that is not necessarily cheaper overall.
Where you go
Published prices differ by an order of magnitude between countries. That reflects local costs and market positioning, and says nothing on its own about the standard of care.
