Where Our Data Comes From
Every field on a listing, and the source behind it.
Google Places
Business name, address, coordinates, phone number, website, Google rating, review count, opening hours and reported business status come from Google's Places data.
The clinic's own website
Email addresses, messaging numbers, social accounts, the procedures a clinic advertises, and the languages it publishes its site in are read from the clinic's own pages.
The ISHRS public member register
Where a listing names a surgeon, that name appears in the public member register of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and we were able to match it to that clinic. Membership is a professional affiliation, not a licence or a qualification, and it is not an endorsement by Folliculis or by the ISHRS of any particular clinic.
What we do not publish
We do not publish prices unless a clinic states them publicly and we have recorded where and when. A figure scraped from a web page is as likely to be a finance instalment or an unrelated treatment as the real cost of a procedure, so where we have no confirmed price we say the information is not available rather than estimate.
We do not reproduce review text, we do not present third-party ratings as our own, and we do not generate descriptive claims about clinics that we cannot source.
How current it is
Every listing shows the month its information was last checked. Clinics move, change numbers and close. If something looks wrong, the clinic's own website is the authority, and we would be glad to be told.
Limits you should know about
Coverage is uneven: some countries are well represented and others are barely started. The absence of a clinic means we have not recorded it, not that it does not exist or is not good. Equally, a listing here is not a recommendation — we have not inspected any clinic or verified any licence.
