Before you book in Singapore
Confirm the operating surgeon by name and check them against the national medical regulator, not against the clinic's own website. Ask who makes the incisions and who places the grafts, and get the answer in writing.
Ask what happens if you have a complication after you fly home, who you contact, in what language and at what hours. Check whether your travel insurance covers elective surgery abroad; most policies do not.
